Sometimes Internet Service Providers are known to block Port 25. They expect their customers use their outgoing servers to send emails. There is a way around this. We have provided an alternate port. It is 587. You can change the port number in your email client. (Mostly found under "Advanced Settings"). A few examples are as follows: MS Outlook Outlook Express Netscape Mail
Outlook: Open MS Outlook. Click “Tools” then “E-mail Accounts”
Choose “View or change existing e-mail accounts” and click “Next”.
Highlight the e-mail account and click “Change”.
Click “More Settings”
Click the “Advanced Tab” and for “Outgoing Server (SMTP)” change the number to 587. Click “OK”
Outlook Express: Open Outlook Express. Click “Tools” and the “Accounts”.
Select “Mail” tab, highlight the e-mail account and click “Properties”.
Select “Advanced” tab and change the port number of “Outgoing mail(SMTP” to 587. Click “Apply” and “OK”.
Netscape Mail: Open Netscape Mail. Click “Edit” and then “Mail and Newsgroup Account Settings”.
Select “Outgoing Server(SMTP). Change the port number to 587. Click “OK”
